Why face painting?

rainbow princess girl

It’s fun, it’s creative, it’s extremely low-tech, and I get to play with kids and really silly adults. I love seeing a person’s face light up when he or she sees their freshly painted face.

It’s also very Zen.  Face painting isn’t meant to last.  It’s transient, but it makes the moment more special, adds to the celebratory feeling.  It’s soothing to the kids to get all that attention.  And it makes for fabulous photos!
